Stacy & Glenn's Wedding | Manhattan
On a lovely day in November, with a slight chill in the air, Stacy & Glenn took a walk through Central Park. Stacy wore a modern, minimalist, Bagley Mishka gown and an antique fur coat, her something borrowed family heirloom. Glenn looked dashing in his Salvatore Ferragamo suit. When the sun started to set, we headed back to their Manhattan apartment, where they would make it official. They had cleared out their dinning room, set up chairs and a chuppah. Family photos were placed on shelves with bouquets of white hydrangeas. It was there, in the privacy and warmth of their own home, with 30 of their closest friends and family, that they final said their I dos. It was cozy and intimate, and a lot of sweet tears were shed.
After the ceremony, they sat down for dinner in what was usually the living room turned dinning for 30. Naturally Delicious provided the fabulous meal. Glenn provided the wine from his impressive and divine collection. Toasts were made, laughter shared and a few more tears shed.
When I had asked Stacy about their relationship she told me they had both been through a lot. “We do not take each other for granted. We are thankful for each other, kind to one another and show each other love. We are playful, madly in love and happier than we have ever been in our lives.” And really, what more could you want?
