Meghan & Anthony's Engagement | The High Line
I met up with Meghan and Anthony on the first really nice spring day in New York. We had planned for a snowy winter engagement shoot, but after several attempts of getting rain instead of snow, we decided it was not to be. Instead, we were lucky enough to land the first gorgeous day of the year! Of course, a beautiful day in New York makes for crowded streets, but Meghan and Anthony weren’t in a hurry. They were just happy to be together and we had all afternoon. It’s good to remember to live in the moment, not live to get past it, and the High Line is the perfect place to get lost in the crowd.
The High Line is an incredibly unique park. Originally built in the 1800s as street-level train tracks, it was abandoned for decades and slated for demolition. Advocates noticed wild plants growing on the old tracks and stepped in to repurpose it as a public park. Today, it stands as a mile and a half long greenway above the streets of Chelsea, and a perfect spot to capture both nature and the excitement of New York in the springtime.
Enjoy this sweet spring engagement session on The High Line. It’s the perfect place for a stroll in New York… as long as you don’t mind the crowds.
Looking forward to their Central Park wedding this July!
