Lauren & Tim's Wedding | Mystic Seaport
You couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous November day in New England. Lauren and Tim envisioned a romantic but fun affair for their wedding, and I'd say they nailed it. Their colors were ivory, peach & blush pink, with pops of metallic. Broadview Florists provided the stunning flowers, white and peach blooms with eucalyptus (my favorite!). Their ceremony took place in a sweet Rhode Island Church, St. Clare's. After the ceremony we made our way over to a nearby beach for photos of the energetic wedding party and the couple. Considering it was a windy day in November, they were all real troopers, especially Lauren, and in the end it really paid off. Lauren's fur wrap and Tim's arms helped keep the gorgeous bride warm. Lauren's Jenny Packham gown blew in the ocean breeze resulting in a Gone with the Wind level romantic scene.
The reception was at Latitude 41 in Mystic Seaport, Connecticut. When Queen played for their first dance I knew it was going to be my kind of night! The guests were on board too, including Lauren's grandparents who shared a sweet slow dance off to the side of the dance floor. The night ended with a fantastic sparkler exit. It's not a stretch to say this wedding was one of my favorites. Lauren and Tim are self described "very goofy and playful, even a little weird" something that I more than relate to. Their wedding was romantic but not too serious - full of friends and family there to celebrate and dance the night away. Lauren & Tim are loving and fun, as was their wedding. That's everything a wedding should be. What more could you ask for?
